China Academy of Information and Communications Technology released a White Paper on the Global Digital Economy at the Global Digital Economy Conference 2021 on Aug 2.According to statistics, the scale of China’s digital economy has reached 5.4 trillion US dollars by 2020, ranking second in the world. The growth rate was 9.6%, the highest in the world.Unprecedented scale, bright growth.Through this “report card”, we not only see the brilliant achievements of China’s digital economy, but also see the unlimited potential of China’s digital economy development.
The year 2020 is an extraordinary year. Many uncertainties, including the COVID-19 pandemic, have cast a shadow over China’s and the world’s economic and social development.Against this backdrop, the scale of China’s digital economy has not been reduced, but achieved rapid growth and released sufficient development vitality.A variety of new business models and formats, such as live streaming, cloud travel, online grocery shopping and so on, have sprung up and become stronger. These new models and new business forms have shifted the consumption scene from offline to online, realizing the transition from “data flow” to “economic output”, and giving the digital economy a more solid grip.At the same time, the industrial Internet, data analysis technology, artificial intelligence, block chain and other new technologies and new applications in the workshop, the field is widely empowered, the traditional industry has realized the “old tree sprout”, emerging industries show a momentum of vigorous development.”Digital industrialization” and “industrial digitization” have more possibilities and bear more fruits.
Digital is productivity, which is best explained in the digital economy era.But for many new models and new business forms, 2020 is just a beginning. As many new technologies and new applications are popularized in more application scenarios and new consumption patterns are recognized by more consumers, today’s new models and new business forms will become “normal” and “common” business forms. The prosperity of these industries means that the digital economy will have a stronger foundation and a larger scale. As a new engine and driving force for economic and social development, the digital economy is bound to unleash more vitality.
Of course, in order to realize the sound and long-term development of China’s digital economy, we should not only recognize the achievements, but also recognize the shortcomings. At present, although China has entered the digital economy era, it still faces many challenges. For example, the construction of data management, data governance platform is not perfect, digital governance system is not perfect. These weak links are the ones we need to address urgently.
To be sure, the greater the proportion of digital economy in China’s economic structure, the greater the harm brought by the shortcomings that restrict the development of digital economy. To remedy these weaknesses is a systematic and long-term project.
In the face of the current severe international situation, with the continuous development of the digital economy, there may be new deficiencies. Therefore, in the face of repeated epidemics, China’s garment and textile export industry also needs to “solve the problems in development through development” and adopt the sustainable management concept for enterprise management. In the selection of clothing fabric materials, we will pay more attention to green and environmental protection categories and adhere to the people-oriented business philosophy.Only base on it,Africlife be able to leapfrog on a larger scale and with higher quality.
